AI Listing Summary
This 2000 Aston Martin DB7 Vantage is a well-specified late model in a desirable color combination with a solid history, fresh from a recent £4,000+ service and a long MoT. Despite some noted cosmetic imperfections and minor mechanical quirks like a gearbox that may jump out of second and slightly off-center steering, it presents an attractive opportunity in the classic car market. The exterior shows expected wear for its age, including chips and rust spots, while the interior has minor issues like seat wear and a stained carpet. Mechanically, advisories from the latest MoT highlight areas needing attention, such as aged front tires and a corroded coil spring, but the car is described as running well with good oil pressure and battery charge, and comes with an inspection report from a respected Aston Martin expert.
Condition
6
The car is in good condition with moderate wear visible on the exterior and interior. The exterior has several cosmetic flaws including scuffs, chips, and rust forming in a few areas. The interior shows some color loss on the driver's seat and a stained carpet. Mechanically, the car has some noted issues like the gearbox potentially jumping out of second gear and the steering being off-center and pulling to the left, along with advisories from the last MOT regarding front tires, a corroded coil spring, and a worn rear tire. However, it has a recent major service and a long MoT, indicating it's still functional but requires some reconditioning.

Description
The new millennium saw Aston Martin revamp the DB7 to engineer the Vantage you see here, with its newly-developed six-litre, 414bhp V12 engine channelling its power through either a five-speed automatic or a six-speed manual like this one.
Finished in Aston Racing Green with a Parchment and Green leather interior complete with burr walnut veneer trim, ‘W622 TTF’ has had just four previous keepers and still shows only 32,000 miles on the odometer.
It also comes to market fresh from a £4,000+ service, in possession of a long Mo
T, and accompanied by an inspection report from Rikki Cann, a well-respected independent Aston Martin expert.
The seller bought it from a work colleague in 2005, so he knows the car well and has looked after it appropriately.
He also told us: “It has never been driven in the rain, or with snow or salt on the roads.” Is this the perfect example of a perfectly-spec’d DB7, the Aston Martin so many of us consider the British firm’s most underappreciated and under...
