Condition

The car has been parked up for extended periods, requiring recommissioning. It has some service history but is not complete, with the last stamp in 2011. There's also an outstanding recall. While it has had some recent work done, the periods of inactivity and the recall suggest moderate wear and the need for some reconditioning.

BMW launched the E46 3-Series in November 1997 with first deliveries in April 1998.

The body shell of the E46 was claimed by BMW to be 70% more rigid than its E36 predecessor with aluminium used for an increased quantity of suspension components.

The 170bhp 2.5-litre 323i Coupe uses a straight six-cylinder engine, with the sports pack suspension standard on the Coupe, with sports leather seats.

Compared to the E46 Saloon, the Coupe is lower by 46mm, longer by 17mm and wider by 18mm.

The windscreen raked back a further two degrees and the rear window slope steeper, making the Coupe roof both shorter and flatter.

The mirrors are broader and lower in profile, with five knuckle-like fins atop each, designed to reduce wind noise.

Sport Suspension is standard, lowering the ride height by 15mm.

To assist loading, 60/40 split-folding rear seats can be unlocked from the boot.
