One of only 21 Koenig Testarossas built....
Willy König enjoyed a fruitful motor-racing career with notable success, becoming German Hillclimb Champion at the wheel of a Ferrari 250 GT SWB in 1962 whilst piloting many other legendary racing cars at top class events such as the Le Mans 24 hours for the rest of his career.
The foundations of his business, 'Koenig Specials' can be traced back to 1974 when he brought a Ferrari 365 GT4 BB into Germany, and dissatisfied with its performance, proceeded to modify both the engine and bodywork.
These enhancements didn't go unnoticed and soon many Ferraristas were commissioning Herr König to work on their cars.
When Ferrari released the Testarossa in 1984, Koenig Specials were inevitably going to develop it further and the result was a scintillating performance car named the Ferrari Testarossa Koenig Competition Evolution.
