Introduced as the flagship of the W222 range, the S600L occupied a unique position in the Mercedes-Benz hierarchy, and we are thrilled to be listing this example on SB.

Sitting above the already impressive V8-powered S500, the S600L combined the long-wheelbase W222 platform with Mercedes' legendary M279 6.0-litre twin-turbocharged V12 engine, delivering an effortless 523bhp and a remarkable 612lb-ft of torque.

While modern performance cars often shout about their capabilities, the S600L takes a very different approach.

The V12 is virtually inaudible in normal driving, the ride quality is exceptional, and the immense performance is delivered with the sort of understated ease that only a large-capacity twelve-cylinder engine can provide.
