1954 Triumph TR2 £17,995 Just arrived at The Garage 1954 Triumph TR2 An Attractive Early TR2 A very smart and appealing example of Triumph s landmark early sports car, this 1954 TR2 has recently arrived with us and is now ready for its next custodian.

First registered in Berkshire in February 1954, the car is accompanied by a substantial history file documenting its life and the considerable work carried out over the years.

We understand that a major restoration was undertaken during the early 2000s, followed by ongoing maintenance and improvement.

More recently, the TR2 has benefited from a repaint together with replacement wheel bearings, brake cylinders, shock absorbers and suspension rubbers.

The wire wheels have also been refurbished and a service was carried out earlier this summer.

Introduced in 1953, the TR2 was the sports car Sir John Black had wanted Standard-Triumph to build.
