Exceptionally rare ‘GT’ variant of the SLS AMG, benefitting from a 20 bhp increase alongside several other changes over the standard SLS AMG Announced in 2012 as an updated version of Mercedes-Benz’s lauded SLS AMG, the SLS AMG GT appeared was almost indistinguishable from its predecessor visually, but beneath the bodywork it offered several important technological upgrades to the platform.
Its 6.2-litre naturally aspirated V-8 engine received a 20 bhp power increase over the standard model, while the suspension was reworked with firmer spring rates, and revised gear ratios and gearbox software swapped cogs quicker than ever for a more sporting driving experience.
A handful of new optional extras were offered, and the previously optional Bang & Olufsen stereo was made standard.
