AI Listing Summary

This 1929 Rolls-Royce Phantom I has a unique history, including single-family ownership for 75 years and a 1960s "woodie" body conversion. It features a matching-numbers 7,668-cc straight-six engine and was once owned by The Connaught Hotel. However, it requires servicing due to recent storage.

Condition

The car is described as running and driving, but in need of a service due to storage. The body was rebuilt in the 1960s with a "woodie" design. While it retains its matching-numbers engine and has an interesting history, the modifications and need for service suggest it's not in top condition.

An accompanying copy of the data card from the Derby factory records that this example, chassis 118KR, was sold on 18 April 1929 to the Arthur Mulliner dealership of Northamptonshire for a final price of £1,850.
