Noto’s most prized automobiles, the 1929 Cadillac Convertible Coupe offered here was, per its build sheet, originally built with this distinctive body style, and was delivered through the Brooklyn Cadillac dealership on Atlantic Avenue, whose tag still appears on the right rear fender.

According to prior owner Frank Nicodemus, of the noted Cadillac parts and restoration facility FEN Enterprises in Wappingers Falls, New York, the car’s original owner kept it for decades, storing it in the parking garage of a high-rise apartment building in New York City.

Mr.

Nicodemus claimed to have acquired the car from the original owner in 1980, and in 1998 sold it to Mr.

Noto, who, with John Barbato, spent two years undertaking its full restoration back to original condition.
