AI Listing Summary

This 1967 Lamborghini 400 GT 2+2 by Touring, chassis number 01096, is one of only 224 examples produced between 1966 and 1968. It features a five-speed synchromesh gearbox and a Dark Blue Metallic exterior with a Tobacco leather interior. Previously owned by Dominique Mars, it underwent a thorough overhaul by Ferrari specialist Franck Opderbeck, including bodywork and paint restoration in 1993, while preserving the original interior's patination.

Condition

8

The car's bodywork and paint were restored in 1993, and the interior appears to have been left untouched to preserve its patination. It benefitted from a thorough overhaul including refurbishment of the braking system, replacement of the shock absorbers and replacement of all flexible hoses and tubing during M. Mars’ ownership. The listing says that the car is in stunning condition. Because of this, I am rating the car as an 8.

Dallara operated in an all-encompassing Chief Designer role, while Scaglione was responsible for the c...
