This handsome example of Porsche’s groundbreaking 911 GT3-R was delivered new to Italian GT team ART Engineering, in whose hands it enjoyed considerable success.
At the A-1 Ring 500 kilometres—the first round of the 2000 FIA GT Championship—Fabio Mancini and Gianni Collini drove the car to a fine N-GT class win.
This came ahead of stiff class opposition from fellow Porsche teams EMKA, Larbre, and Red Bull Racing.
