Though the 112-inch wheelbase and overall body design carried over, front-end styling was once again updated, this time with new fenders and a radiator grille that wrapped further around the sides of the hood and featured vertical bars.

Redesigned hood louvers and a larger capacity radiator improved engine cooling.

Though output for the familiar 221-cubic-inch L-head V-8 engine remained at 85 horsepower, several improvements were made, including the addition of domed aluminum pistons and new main bearings.

DeLuxe models such as the stylish four-door Phaeton offered here featured chrome trim around the grille, windshield, and headlamps.

Also exclusive to DeLuxe models were dual taillights and horns, with the latter now being concealed behind screens in the fender catwalks.
