The allure of a four-seat grand tourer fitted with a V-12 engine has long proved irresistible to a certain niche of enthusiasts.

For those seeking Italian panache and sports car characteristics, all combined with the functionality of a practical interior layout, the Ferrari 365 GT4 2+2 was chief among these family-friendly V-12 GTs.

This 365 GT4 2+2 was manufactured in December 1975.

Supplied to its first owner in France via the importer Charles Pozzi SA, this vehicle apparently stayed with the same family until 2008, when Monsieur Petitjean added it to his collection having acquired it from a dealer in the south of France.

Today, this 365 GT4 2+2 presents well in its original Blu Ortis over a Pelle Bianca interior, with the odometer showing 54,780 km at the time of cataloguing.

The factory-fitted engine has been replaced by another from a 365 GT4 2+2, but numbers on the gearbox and rear axle match build records.
