He converted the Spartan Aircraft factory in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to build high-end travel trailers for wealthy clients.
They soon earned a reputation as the “Cadillac” of the industry, and their price tags—often as much as the cost of a small conventional house—reflected the quality of their materials and construction.
