Lancia’s Flaminia line was called ‘the Italian Mercedes’ for its superior build quality, refinement, and handling when compared to Ferrari and Maserati.

The successor to Lancia’s groundbreaking Aurelia, the Flaminia featured a modern V-6 with rear-mounted DeDion transaxle and double-wishbone front suspension.

As was their practice, Lancia supplied coachbuilder’s platforms to Pinin Farina, Zagato, and Carrozzeria Touring, who built the rakish two-seater GT and GT Convertible with their patented Superleggera aluminium body construction.

The car presented here, chassis number 826.134-1074, is finished in Argento Auteuil Metallic over red leather and is equipped with a period Becker Mexico AM/FM stereo.
