The car underwent a meticulous two-and-a-half-year restoration completed in 2005, with approximately $300,000 invested. The bodywork used proper fiberglass cloth sourced from Germany and laid into authentic body molds. A proper three-liter 908 engine was sourced and rebuilt to original specifications. The car has been dutifully maintained and lacks nothing, making it ideal for historic racing and eligible for concours and vintage events.
