The car has been sympathetically maintained throughout its life. It sports its all-original grey and blue interior, which has been preserved in excellent time-warp condition. The motor is reported to operate very well as does the Hydra-Matic four-speed transmission, and it is believed that the circa 53,000 mile odometer reading is accurate due to the condition of the interior and wonderful operating character of the mechanical components. The stainless steel top is excellent and has no dings or damage from improper care, which sometimes plagues this most unique finish. The chrome and trim are believed to be original, although the paint has been very nicely refinished at some point in the past using the correct original deep black lacquer finish.
