A slightly larger 951cc engine than before and was the first Renault to have a detachable cylinder head.
Built with the distinctive Renault coal scuttle bonnet, the car has a steel chassis and gives a very comfortable ride with semi-elliptic front springs and a transverse read spring.The vehicle on offer is unique in the UK.
Described as a Torpedo Commercial, it was bought by farmers as it could be used as a pickup, with its rear drop-down tailgate during the week and then transformed into a 4-seater open tourer at the weekends to take the family to Church.
There were leather covered side panels that could be used to cover the woodwork in the rear to stop splinters! The car was imported into the UK in approx.
