A12-036153The origins of the Datsun name go as far back as 1914 but for the last 50 years of the company’s life, 1933 to 1983, it was owned by The Nissan Motor Co.
Ltd Yokohama but still badged as Datsun.
This model was fitted with the A12 engine from 1977 to 1981, which was powered by a 4-cylinder OHV engine of 1171 cc which was described as giving lively performance on low grade fuel and with a reported fuel consumption of 41 mpg.
Coming from long term ownership this particular Datsun was first sold to a Wilfred F Worth of Plymstock, Plymouth on 1st January 1978 by K.G Haskell & Son of Plympton.
Originally registered NTK 302S, the car was then assigned the private plate WFW 555.
Mr Worth kept the car until 2003 during which time, the car was always garaged, but left unused for many years due to illness.
Our vendor then recommissioned the car and put it back on the road and registered it in his mother’...
