The Aston Martin DB9 was introduced at the 2003 Frankfurt Auto Show and was manufactured for 12 years from 2004 to 2016.
The DB9 was a significant new model in Aston Martin history being a radically entirely new design based on aluminium and composite construction.
So new that Aston Martin chose to emphasis what a step forward the new car was by naming it the DB9 and missing out the DB8 number in the sequence.
The car was designed by Ian Callum and Henrik Fisker and features the 5.9-litre V12 engine.
For the MY2011 DB9s, Aston Martin improved the body styling, re-designed the dash controls to make them more contemporary and stylish, featuring the glass Aston Martin starter key, and upgraded the chassis to include adaptive dampers, which dramatically improved the comfort or the handling at a touch of a button.
Last but not least, Aston Martin improved the engine s power by 27 horses, leading to a better 0 to 100 kph (0-60 mph) time.
