To stay true to the “RS” spirit, the manufacturer reduced the car’s weight.

The retractable rear wing was replaced by an iconic fixed wing, the power steering was modified (or removed, depending on the options), and the interior was simplified: the rear bench seat was removed, sound insulation was reduced, flat door panels with pull straps, and fabric sport seats.
