The car shown here was delivered new on March 24, 1966, to Thépenier, the official French importer of Maserati.
Factory-equipped with the optional 3.7-liter engine, it also featured wire-spoke wheels and a limited-slip differential.
Due to this top-of-the-line specification, this Sebring initially served as a demonstration vehicle for the importer.
Later in 1966, it was sold to its first private owner, Mr.
Vigan, in exchange for his Lancia Flaminia Zagato.
In 1969, the car was registered in the Moselle department.
Originally delivered in the color Amaranto Roma, the body was repainted in its current shade of silver during the 1970s, a change documented by a period photograph included in the file.
