1966 RENAULT CARAVELLE S R1133
WITHOUT RESERVATION
Serial number: 128110
French registration
- Popular convertible of the '60s
- Fluid lines with Italian accents

An elegant 2-door cabriolet with an aesthetic rather than a sporting vocation, the Caravelle embodies the French chic of the period, with an Italian-influenced design by Ghia.

It is powered by a 1108 cm³ 4-cylinder rear engine, developing around 55 hp and up to 57.5 hp for the 1100 S, borrowing its block from the Renault 8.

Top speed is close to 140 km/h.

Appreciated for its lines, lightness and "dolce vita" charm, the Caravelle is today a sought-after, relatively affordable collector's car, still benefiting from good parts availability and an endearing image in French automotive heritage.
This Caravelle S has been owned by its current owner for over ten years, acquired in June 2015.

It comes with an extensive file of invoices, testifying to regular maintenance over the years.
