The car underwent a thorough restoration between 1999 and 2001, including bodywork, paintwork, and mechanical repairs. It received a new paint finish (pearly white, not original). The car was put back on the road in 2017 and has a valid technical inspection, suggesting it's in solid working order. There's slight wear visible, and the non-original paint impacts the score.

- Documented history
Introduced at the end of the 1960s, the Fiat 124 Sport embodies Fiat's desire to offer an accessible coupé with a resolutely sporty temperament.

Designed by Centro Stile Fiat and powered by the famous twin-cylinder engine designed by Aurelio Lampredi, the 124 Sport quickly established itself as one of the benchmarks in its class.

Balanced, lively and with the taut lines typical of its era, it combined driving pleasure with versatility, in keeping with the Italian tradition of family coupés capable of covering the miles with ease, whether on the freeway or on winding transalpine roads.
The example on offer, serial number 44168, was acquired new in 1968 by Madame Marie Martin.

Retired in 1977, it was sold on April 29, 1999 to its cousin, Mr.

André François, who undertook a thorough restoration between 1999 and 2001.
