A direct descendant of the GN cyclecar - a two-cylinder, chain-driven car produced until 1922 by Captain Archie Frazer-Nash and H.R.

Godfrey - the Frazer Nash is in the truest tradition of British motorsport in the 1920s.

After the end of GN production, Archie Frazer-Nash founded his own company and, in 1924, presented the first Frazer Nash.

It incorporated the ingenious GN transmission system: a dedicated chain for each gear, with the drive sprockets controlled by dog clutches.

Three gears are offered initially, soon to be joined by a fourth, while an intermediate shaft transmits the movement to the rear axle.

The reverse gear also had its own chain.
