The F430's predecessor, the 360 Modena was already available as a Berlinetta and Spider in the spring of 2000.

So it was only natural that the F430 should also succumb to the pleasures of the cabriolet, faithful to the great tradition of the canvas top.
This new-generation 4.3-liter block, visible under an elegant transparent hood, revs up to 8,500 rpm with a metallic scream, releasing 490 hp - 90 more than the F360 Modena.
