Founded in 1906 by Auguste Doriot, an engineer at Peugeot, and Ludovic Flandrin, who had come from Clément-Bayard, DF et Cie set up in Courbevoie to produce small 1.1-liter single-cylinder cars during a period of automotive growth.

Joined in 1908 by brothers Alexandre and Jules-René Parant, who brought in new capital, the firm became DFP: Doriot
Flandrin Parant.
In 1919, the 2000 Series was renewed, with three models: 7 HP (1.1 liter), 10 HP (1.6 liter) and 12 HP (2 liters).

These cars no longer featured DFP engines.

The brand has turned to external engine manufacturers for its powertrains.

Thus, the 2000 7 HP and 2000 12 HP feature Alto engines, while the 2000 10 HP has a Sergeant (then American) engine.

The model owned by Mr.

Migeon since 1955 is a 10 CV Torpedo 4-seater in original condition.

This DFP has never been restored, and is in excellent condition.
