The 70's were the blessed era of Kit Cars, with simple homologation and affordable, high-performance mechanics, leading to the rise of many small French brands.

Marcadier, Rene Bonnet, Alpine, DB - some were successful and produced on a larger scale, others less so.

Such is the case of BSH, a small brand founded by Messrs Benais and Saint-Hilaire in 1969 in Le Mans.
Producing exclusively Renault-powered kits, the brand was in business from 1969 to 1972.

In all, some fifty kits were produced.

The example we're offering is powered by an r8 Gordini engine, fed by two WEBER carburetors, ideal for use in historic competition.
