Introduced in 1954 and priced well above the Jaguar Type E, the AC Aceca was the closed version of the famous AC Ace roadster.

A true British GT, it offered an elegant, well-appointed interior, with independent suspension and aluminum bodywork.

However, distribution remained confidential, with only around 300 examples produced.

The model offered here is distinguished by its Ford 260 ci V8 engine (4.3 L), which gives it particularly enthusiastic performance.

Delivered new to American importer Michell & Pauli on December 30, 1955 in "Opal Blue" with black leather upholstery, the car disappeared from the radar until the early 1970s.

Following a collision, it was dismantled for restoration.

New bumpers were even manufactured at AC's Thames Ditton plant and installed in 1976.
