1971 Citroën DS21 IE Chassis 00FA8409 French collector's registration - Hydraulic gearbox - Uncommon version Designed by Italian designer Flaminio Bertoni in collaboration with aeronautical engineer André Lefebvre, the DS and ID were produced by Citroën between 1955 and 1975.
Naturally, they were based on the front-wheel-drive principle so dear to Citroën.
The 21 IE was the first high-performance version of the DS, equipped with its 2.1L 125 hp Bosch electronic fuel injection system, and finally capable of reaching a top speed of 190 km/h.
