The Alfasud is a small entry-level car from the Italian manufacturer, produced from 1972 to 1984.

In 1976, the model was upgraded to a coupé, to be named Sprint.

From a purely aesthetic point of view, the Sprint looks more like the Alfetta GTV than the basic Alfasud.

It boasts a racy look, with a more raked windscreen, a flatter fastback-style rear window and slightly more prominent front and rear fascias.

Mechanically, the Sprint was available with three different boxer engines: a 1.3 with 76 hp, and from 1978 a 1.3 with 79 hp and a 1.5 with 95 hp.


In 1983, the Alfasud was restyled with plastic bumpers, a new interior and wider headlamps.


The example presented is a 1979 Alfasud Sprint, one of 116,552 produced.


In generally good condition, this little sports car is a true time capsule of the '80s, equipped with a webasto and a body kit to modernize the lines.
