This is a 1937 Berliet 944 Cabriolet five seater.
Purchased in the Var in 1985 by its current owners, including the direct granddaughter of Marius Berliet, this 944 only knew three hands before them.
It was then restored by the Peltier establishments in Fontainebleau.
Regularly used since, by its owners, it took part in the rally of the ACF’s centenary, as well as in the Concours d’Elégance of Bagatelle.
It is still presented in a beautiful state of presentation.
Its original upholstery has been preserved and remains in fair condition.
We were able to get behind the wheel and see how the car works, however, a review would be welcome before using it for longer distances.
A technical control was passed in the last month of November and the result was favorable.
