Lancée en 1932, la Monaquatre UY reprenait la
carrosserie de la Primaquatre dans une version
simplifiée.
En 1933, elle devient YN-1 adoptant ainsi
un capot à fentes assorti d’une calandre en V.
En
1934, la calandre s’incline, et la carrosserie s’adoucie,
c’est l’YN-2.
A la fin de l’an 1934, la Monaquatre YN-3
adopte une nouvelle carrsossere aérodynamique.
En
1935, apparaît la YN-4.
Proche de la YN-3, elle se pare
désormais d’une queue de pie à malle intérieur, d’un
capot à quatre ouïes horizontales ; la roue de secours
s’inscrit dorénavant dans un coffre alors que le moteur
431 fait désormais 1 465cm3.
Cet exemplaire de 1935 semble véritablement sain
de carrosserie.
Son moteur a visiblement reçu un
entretien régulier comme en témoigne un ensemble
d’allumage récent mais il devra être révisé pour une
remise en route.
