La Citroën Traction présentée aujourd'hui a été restaurée en août 1997 après avoir été remisée pendant 27 ans en Normandie.
La teinte beige irisé d'origine a été refaite d'après une porte de boîte à gant jamais repeinte. En 1998 la voiture participe au premier «Tracbar Dundee » en Australie et porte le numéro 001 .En août 1999 la mécanique est remplacée par un moteur d'ID19 refait à neuf accouplé à une boite à quatre vitesses.
Le train avant fut complètement revu et le circuit électrique passé en douze volts.
Ces travaux ont été réalisés aux établissements Philippe Chauvet. En 2000 cette Traction prend le départ pour le deuxième « Tracbar Dundee » puis fut stockée en 2003 avec 13000 kms depuis la réfection du moteur.
L'actuel propriétaire l'a achetée en 2004 et l'utilise régulièrement.
