La DELAGE DR est une voiture de luxe présentée en 1927 au salon de Paris, et qui fut disponible en deux versions, 12 ou 14 cv fiscaux.
Cette voiture occupait le milieu de gamme de la marque DELAGE, et était une évolution de la Type DM, dont la DR reprend le moteur et le châssis.
La différence entre les deux DELAGE DR est la motorisation, la version 12 cv, appelée DR65, avait un moteur de 2.170cm3, la seconde, la version 14 cv, c'est la DELAGE DR70, équipée d'un 2.516cm3.
Le moteur de la DR70 est un six cylindres en ligne de 2.516cm3 donc, un moteur repris sur la DELAGE DM, mais quelques modifications lui sont apportées: les soupapes sont latérales, la culasse devient plate et amovible.
Le tout développait 45 cv, permettant à la voiture d'atteindre les 100km/h, une vitesse très honorable au début des années 1930.
