En ce début d'année 1953, MG faisant face à la chute des ventes de la TD, se devait de réagir.
C'est sur la base du châssis de cette dernière que les ingénieurs d'Abingdon introduisent en Août 1953 la Midget TF, toujours équipée du moteur XPAG 1250 cm3.
Peu de changements caractérisent cette nouvelle Midget, hormis la calandre inclinée enveloppant un radiateur accessible de l'intérieur du moteur, les phares incorporés dans les ailes et le bouchon de radiateur factice.
Notre TF est de 1954.
Américaine comme la plupart de ses consoeurs, elle est sur le sol national depuis un peu plus d'un an.
Sa peinture fut refaite il y a un certain nombre d'années et mériterait d'être revue bien que ce ne soit pas choquant.
La capote d'origine est en bon état, elle dispose également de ses couvre-tonneau, side-screens et couvre-capote.
