Rebuilt from the original floors and frame, which were the only solid aspects of the Bus that remained

New body panels were created over the timespan of a couple of years of painstaking metalwork

Rebuilt and detailed 1192cc/36 HP flat 4-cylinder engine

Rebuilt and detailed period-correct 4-speed manual transmission

Re-painted in its original color scheme of two-tone Sealing Wax Red and Beige Gray, reflected on its Stiftung AutoMuseum Volkswagen Zertifikat
