Vehicle Details
AI Listing Summary
This 2000 Mercedes CLK55 AMG Auto, a Category C insurance loss vehicle, was sold for £1,900. It suffered significant damage in 2015, requiring replacement AMG parts, and has ongoing issues with its exhaust and air conditioning.
Condition
3
The car was involved in an insurance loss incident (Category C) where it was deemed uneconomical to repair due to damage to the bonnet and bumper. While the vendor states they purchased parts and put it back on the road, and that the damage was 'light' in the photos, the fact it was categorized as extensively damaged but repairable, along with the need for new parts and the mention of an exhaust rattle and temperamental air conditioning, indicates substantial reconditioning is required.
