Ford Mexico was built at Ford's AVO factory on 6th July 1973, owned by the same family since new, purchased from Kidderminster Motors, and I have the original sales invoice
Many improvements carried out: engine completely overhauled by Vulcan Engineering; Type 9 gearbox overhauled by BGH Gear Tech Ltd, with 1 – 4 gear ratios as a Mexico gearbox
RS2000 bell housing and gearbox modified so the gear change stick is in the correct position; you can’t tell from inside that it has a 5-speed box, new pop shaft
Fitted with Lumenition electronic ignition, S/S exhaust system, Radtec radiator
New rear springs and shock absorbers, and refurbished front brake callipers
