My unfinished, well honestly not far off finished 1984 Mexican built, limited edition Winter Bug
There were 1500 of these made and sold in 1883, and a further 1700, in 1984.
They were sold by Volkswagen via the European dealer network in France, Italy, and Germany
This one was originally sold in Germany, and was later imported into the UK.
The Winter Bug had Ice Blue metallic paint, special seat trim and either white! or black carpet.
Fortunately this one has black.
I bought it approximately 6 years ago, and began the project of building it into a German Look inspired late model beetle.
