The vendor has provided the following:

A 1982 X-registered Honda Melody 50cc moped/scooter in white, supplied new by David Sykes Superbikes in Horden, County Durham, and purchased in the mid-1980s by the current owners' late father-in-law, who lived locally and bought it for his wife to use
She didn't take to it, and so it remained in the back of their garage, unused, until the summer of 2016, at which time it was stolen
It reappeared about 2 years later when an application was made to the DVLA to register it, and the Police were informed
It was subsequently seized and returned by the Police to the family of the late owner/keeper - reasonably clean and in running order, and it remained in storage until registered by the...
