First registered on the Isle of Man in June 1999 by supplying Porsche dealer Corkills, the original invoice in our file tells us that the price when new was nearly £86,000.

Factory options included; Porsche Aero kit (front and rear spoilers with side skirts, this kit pre-empted the GT3 styling that followed); sunroof; Becker radio cassette; carbon fibre interior trim panels including carbon fibre / leather steering wheel; extended leather to include the dash and door cards; high back seats; and some aluminium inlays.

Our vendor has had cruise control retro fitted by Porsche.

Brought to the mainland by its last IOM owner in 2017 and stored in his collection, still on IOM number plates, the vendor purchased the 996 in 2022.

It was then re-registered for UK use with all paperwork is on file.

This is not a cosseted, concours winning show example, it has very much been used, maintained extremely well, and enjoyed to the utmost.

It’s had a life, created a tremendous amount of enjoyment...
