AI Listing Summary

This rare 1968 Bond Equipe 2-Litre is a survivor with good bodywork and a clean interior featuring new carpets and period sports seats. It's offered with extensive paperwork and a 'no reserve' auction, making it a potentially great find for a collector looking for a unique classic with some minor tuning potential.

Condition

7

The car is described as being in 'very good clean condition for age' with 'good condition' bodywork. The interior is 'very well kept and clean' with new carpets. It has some nice period features like sports seats, steering wheel, and a Webasto-style sunroof. However, it's noted that the overdrive function has not been tested, and the car would benefit from 'a little fettle or personalisation.' This suggests it's in a solid, above-average state but not perfect, aligning with a 'Very Good' rating.

Here we have a very pretty and rare Bond Equipe finished in white with a black interior.

The bodywork is in good condition and the interior would appear to have new carpets and is very well kept and clean.

It is fitted with a set of period sports seats and steering wheel, maybe original but please check for yourself.

The Bond is also fitted with a Webasto-style sunroof, a nice thing to have on your classic and very much of the time, and was probably very expensive back in the day.

This example is fitted with the 2.0-litre 6-cylinder engine, is badged as an overdrive model and has the stalk but we have not tested this.

It is currently sat on its steel wheels, painted grey to give it that race look, but in the boot are a set of the Rostyle wheel caps along with a few spare parts and trim parts.

The paperwork is rather good with a selection of receipts and invoices, electrical details, a copy of an owner’s handbook and instruction manuals, a buyer’s guide and some parts catalogues.
