Accompanying the MG is an extraordinary handwritten restoration ledger detailing hundreds of individual parts purchases, repairs and improvements carried out over a four-year period.

The records show that well in excess of £7,500 was spent on parts alone, excluding countless hours of labour invested in returning it to the current condition.
