Modifications made in that time include a 5-speed (including overdrive) gearbox, electronic ignition system, electronic fan controller, air conditioning, and inertia reel seatbelts.

Originally exported to New York in October 1962 as a left-hand drive model in Cream, the E-Type spent time with an owner in Los Angeles before coming back home to the UK in 1989.

Soon after, a professional LHD to RHD conversion was carried out together with a colour change to its current finish.
