Description
Here we have possibly one of the finest examples of the Ford Escort XR3i on the market today.
Finished in Diamond white with Shadow trim, it has the correct specification of alloy wheels, sunroof, spots and rear spoiler.
It is blessed not have any extra speaker holes, but does have a car phone that was believed to be fitted from new and therefore very period.
The XR3i was supplied new by Keith Motors (Christchurch) Limited on 12/1/1991 to its first owner, a Mr Batterick of Wimborne, Dorset, who kept it for 32 years until it came into the ownership of our vendor in January 2023.
He is only selling it, very reluctantly, because he doesn’t use it (as the mileage would indicate) and he wants it to go to a good home that will cherish it as he has.
As you go around the Escort, you see little telltale signs that this really is a special example; things like the original rear dealer sticker, a matching set of Continental tyres, highly original and unmolested and it still has that ‘new car...
