We believe this BMW flagship model was first owned by the well-known actor Robert Hardy, famous for his roles in ‘All Creatures Great and Small’, ‘Harry Potter’, ‘Winston Churchill’ and much more.

Being an ‘in demand’ actor, Mr Hardy covered many miles in this 735 SE, a fact confirmed by the meticulous, multi stamped service book.

We think the BMW was taken off the road in 2017 when the MOT history tells us that it was showing a mileage of 194,305 miles, the same year that Mr Hardy passed away.

Our vendor took possession in February 2025, and after some reconditioning it was submitted for its first MOT in eight years which it passed with no advisories.

The Malachite Green paintwork stands up very well, whether it’s all original or not, we are unsure, but it certainly looks good in the current sunshine.

The Sand Beige leather interior is showing some signs of age, no tears or damage, just general wear.
