We are so pleased to bring to market this unique and outstanding Bentley.

This example was supplied new in 1957 to John Jacobs & Co Ltd of London EC3 who were a shipping line company trading since 1880 in Swansea before relocating to the capital.

They kept the Bentley until 1977 when it went into the ownership of the second family to own it, and it has since spent its time living in a very special high end car collection hence the mileage of 37,000 miles.

The buff logbook evidences that the Bentley remained in the Jacobs family until 1977 when it passed into the hands of the renowned dealers, David Scott-Moncrieff & Son Ltd of Leek in Staffordshire as evidenced with an advert from the period which shows the car advertised for sale in February 1978 for the figure of £8,750.

Bearing in mind within the same advert there is a 1960 S2 for £4,680 and a 1963 S3 for £5,550 gives an indication of just how highly considered the S1 was.
