Introduced in 1971, the Rolls-Royce Corniche emerged as one of the marque’s most glamorous and desirable offerings, available in both elegant coupé and refined convertible form.

At its heart lay the renowned 6.75-litre V8 engine, constructed with an aluminium-silicon alloy block and aluminium cylinder heads, and fed by twin SU carburettors.

Effortless progress was assured via a three-speed automatic transmission, while independent suspension on all four corners - enhanced by a hydraulic self-levelling system - delivered the serene ride for which Rolls-Royce is celebrated.
