The Morris Mini Pick-up was a small utility vehicle produced between 1961 and 1983 as part of the family of vehicles derived from the original Mini.
Designed by engineer Alec Issigonis and manufactured by the British Motor Corporation (BMC), the Mini Pick-up used the same compact front-wheel-drive layout as the standard Mini but replaced the rear body with a small open cargo bed.
It was developed primarily for tradespeople and light commercial work, offering excellent manoeuvrability in tight urban environments while maintaining the Mini’s efficient use of space.
Built mainly at BMC’s Longbridge plant in England, the vehicle had a modest payload of around half a ton and was popular with small businesses and farmers.
