The Land Rover Series II 88-inch pickup is, for many, the quintessential embodiment of the Series Land Rover - its unmistakable silhouette and utilitarian charm defining an era of British engineering.

Constructed with Land Rover’s renowned modular aluminium bodywork, they were built for purpose and longevity, most commonly seen with either a full-length canvas tilt or in open pick-up form.

This particular Series II has recently emerged from long-term barn storage, where it is understood to have resided for in excess of 14 years.

Its running condition prior to storage is unknown, and the engine has not been turned or tested since its rediscovery.

The interior presents as largely original, retaining its period instrument panel, heater unit and switchgear.

Notably, windscreen wipers and the central gearbox tunnel cover are absent, while both footwells show evidence of prior repair.

The door tops appear to be later replacements and remain in commendably good order.
